Maria stopped from eating immediately, he felt nervous. Is she going to get mad at him?
"oh forget about it."
he tried to liven up the atmosphere, but Maria just sat there looking at him intensely.
Maria put the plate on the center table and leaned closer towards him. He was caught off guard by her sudden actions.
He just felt a soft and warm thing touch his lips.
His eyes went wide when realization hit him.
Did his Iya just kissed him?!
Tobias can't help himself from smiling. What a great reward! If he kept on receiving that kind of reward, then he was willing to do everything Maria wanted!
She continued eating her mangoes as if nothing happened.
But, her face tells other meaning.
"do you need something babe?"

Tobias felt disappointed, he was itching to do his next task!
On the other hand, Maria was controlling her emotions. She wanted to pounced herself on Tobias!
She was feeling weird, but every time Tobias was close to her, she felt hot!

Like earlier, Tobias asked for his reward. She can gave him anything but why did she kissed him?!

She was disappointed to take her lips away from his. She wanted to deepen the kiss! Luckily, her control was so strong.

Maria was afraid and ashamed to do the first move!
She sneak a glanced on Tobias but was stunned to saw that Tobias was looking at her also. She felt her face was on fire! Why was he looking at her?
Did he think the same like her, too?
"don't you have work?"
she asked to recovered from embarrassment.
"I have, but I'm on a leave."
"you don't have to take care of me."
"but I want to. I want to be there when you want something."
he insisted, she felt her heart skipped a beat.
"then, who was managing your company?"
she was concerned about his business. She doesn't want to be the reason he forgot his responsibility towards his business.
"my butler, remember that man I'm with when I bid my goodbye when we were kids?"
She tried to remember his face but she can't. All she knew is that Tobias had a butler.
"yes, he's still working with you?"
"uh huh, he's the only person that I can trust. Now, you added so, I only trusted the both of you."
She felt her heart swell in so much happiness.
"when did you planned to came back?"
"after I finished my plan here."
he smiled cheekily at her.
"what is it?"
She was curious on what would it be.
"its a secret."
"can't you tell me? I thought you trusted me?"
"that's the exception, it's a surprise."
"can't I have at least a clue?"
she wanted to know!
"it will never be a surprise if I did."
"hmmp"
She was irritated to him. She was going to give him a cold shoulder.
