Capítulo 37: Crab King
"I just realized something." I spoke up when driving towards the port.
Shen Jin gave me a side glance. "What is it?"
"You're like a chauffeur." I said while grinning at him. I mean he's always the one driving everytime we hang out. I feel like a king to have the great Shen Jin to drive me, of course I'm smart enough to only think of it rather than say it.
He gave me a cold glance. "I'm considering on throwing you out my car."
I raise my hands in defeat. "I'm just kidding."
Shen Jin continued driving obviously really contemplating whether to really throw me out or not. I didn't bother with him anymore in case he really does kick me out while the car is still moving. I can't have my pretty face ruined by the sidewalk, it's the only asset I have that gets me out of trouble 60% of the time, my attractive face is basically my cheat in life! I just hummed a random tune while looking outside. When we finally arrive at the port Shen Jin slowed the car down for us to slowly view the restaurants.
"Do you have any preference Shen Jin?" I asked. Look at me, being concerned of the other's opinion, I need a medal fro this.
He just shook his head. I continued to survey the restaurants within my line of vision, when a particular name caught my eye. "Oh let's go to Crab King, my sister once mentioned that their crabs are big and fat unlike the other's that have barely any meat in them!"
Shen JIn nodded and drove towards the parking lot behind the restaurant. When we got out I immediately felt eyes on us. With Shen Jin's eye catching Mavix(1) car, people are bound to be curious on who's driving. Add on the fact that we're both good looking, me of course the more charming one. I sent out a wink on a few girls at the side while Shen Jin put on his naturally cold face that clearly says 'Stay Away'. How is he going to get a wife like this if he just scare people off? I silently gave prayer towards whom he'll marry in the future.
Once we were inside Crab King it wasn't glaringly bright nor was it let make me stumble you a bit kind of dim. I hate those kinds of restaurants where they think being dim is romantic, it's just hides the fact that your date is kind of ugly with the lights on. A waiter greeted us moments after we came in.
"Good afternoon sirs. Would you like a table?" No I would like to eat on the floor, thank you.
I know it's their obligation to ask the obvious but there are just times where I would like to to shake then and tell them. 'Stop it! You all very well know we're here to eat so just ask how many chairs we'll be needing, Jesus f*cking Christ.' And yes I am being an asshole. Questions with obvious answers just tickle my sarcasm and I can't obviously sarcastically answer the waiter since that would be rude. Suppressing my innate nature is really stressful and that just makes me even more annoyed.
"Table for two on the terrace will do." Shen Jin answered the waiter.
The waiter made a bow and gestured for us to follow his lead. He soon gave us a table with a nice view of the sea, I quickly took a photo to commemorate this date with Shen Jin. We sat down and we were given menus.
"Order anything, it's on me." I informed. I'm the one who asked him out so it's only fair for me to pay for the meal.
"Oh? Then I'll have the top 10 most expensive dishes along with shrimp fried rice, the most luxurious red wine and please take Å(2) 1000 tip." Shen Jin closed the menu and just stared at me with a cold and provoking look on his face.
The waiter looked at me if he should really take down the order. I felt my lips twitch a little with his domineering way of being petty but nonetheless nodded. "I'll take buttered shrimps, fried tempura and the buttered crabs with garlic rice, then with mix berry juice." I finished.
The waiter repeated our order and I just nodded. I look towards Shen Jin to see him on his phone with a serious look in his eyes. With his expression it looks like it has something to do with work. I knew from the start that Shen Jin had been working under his father's company within the background to gain experience and to win over employees once he graduated from University. It's not that hard to guess since most families like Shen Jin's already have heirs already managing the company at his age.
After a while Shen Jin finally looked up from his phone after a while of reading and typing. "How were your exams?" He suddenly asked.
"Passable." I responded nonchalantly.
"Graduation is in 3 months any plans for a university?" He asked.
"I'm not really that keen on going to any top university, since my sister would be the one inheriting the company."
Shen Jin just nodded. "What do you plan with your life?"
"You seem awfully curious." I said with a sharp edge in my voice.
He raised his flawless eyebrow at me. "You seem to ba brandishing your claws at me Qin Bai."
"Don't take offense, I just really don't like talking about these kinds things." I explained, I really hate talking about the future, why bother about it when it's only stressful to think about.

But I want my characters to develop more feelings, I don't want love at first sight, I want "I'll sacrifice my life before we realize we love each other" type of love. UGGHHH BUT I REALLY WANT TO WRITE SEX SCENES Btw I also have low tolerance for the obvious especially when people are like ex:
