The skies of Starlight City were bombarded with flashes of light as it lingered in the glow of the red prism.

All citizens who looked above wondered what beings could clash in the skies as such. However, they hoped beyond hope, there was one that was fighting for their cause.

Through the windows of the city hall which peered over all within the city, watching with bated breath was city lord Jimenez and his officials. There he looked at what became of his city below in ash clouds, burning with turmoil spread throughout.

At this very moment when his people needed him the most, he was helpless as to even offering the most minuscule of assistance.

In his mind, he berated himself for being so weak. The fate of his people was now beyond his control.

While being alerted to the clashes in the sky, for a mere second, his eyes seemingly played tricks as he swore he glanced a face that would never be forgotten.
