"Your sensory abilities are quite good to detect me, kid," said Jiraiya with a smile. "What's your name?"
Naruto stared at the man with a bored look on his face as he ignored the question. After sizing Jiraiya up, Naruto returned his gaze back to the Hokage.
"Really? Another pervert?" asked Naruto with an unimpressed look on his face.
"Hey, don't ignore me!" called out Jiraiya with an unpleasant tone.
"Does everyone who become strong turn into a pervert?" asked Naruto rhetorically. "Sigh ... I'm worried about my future now."
"Naruto, this is ...," started the Hokage before Naruto cut in.
"Jiraiya, the Toad Sage, one of the three Legendary Sannins, one of your students and my old man's mentor," said Naruto, maintaining the bored look on his face. "Also the author of that stupid Ichi Ichi series that Kakashi is always carrying."
"You already know him?" asked the Hokage, clearly surprised.
"Yeah, he was mentioned in my father's journal," said Naruto. "I've lost all motivation to train now."
"Kid, name yourself," growled Jiraiya in a dangerous tone.
"Make me," said Naruto, still refusing to look at Jiraiya.
"Step outside!"
"No thanks. I don't want to be seen with a man who looks like a toad," said Naruto, shooing Jiraiya away.
"ENOUGH!" shouted the Hokage angrily. "Naruto, you wanted a Kage level Ninja to train with and Jiraiya's the only one we have aside from me. "You know that I can't train you. So stop insulting him."
"Sigh ... oh, how Konoha has fallen," said Naruto sadly, sighing deeply.
"Naruto? Naruto Uzumaki?" asked Jiraiya in surprise, forgetting his anger at being insulted.
"You know anyone else who fits the bell?" asked Naruto sarcastically.
"Boy, who's your father who's writte about me in his journal?" asked Jiraiya curiously.
"You've forgotten about your own student?" asked Naruto, finally deciding to look at Naruto. "Shame on you."
"Stop playing with me, kid!" shouted Jiraiya, his anger returning.
"I said ENOUGH!" roared the Hokage again. "Jiraiya, put an Isolation Seal on the room."
"I've already done," said Naruto nonchalantly.
"You know how to perform seals?" asked the Hokage and Jiraiya in unison, both clearly shocked.
"Yeah, it's not that hard to master when you know the basics," replied Naruto naturally.
"How far have you advanced?" asked Jiraiya, still in shock.
"I've mastered Level 10 last year," replied Naruto.
"A Level 10 Seals Master, and at your age at that," muttered Jiraiya, not believing what he was hearing. "So you already know about your heritage?"
"More or less," said Naruto.
"Jiraiya, go with Naruto and train him well," said the Hokage, feeling his headache worsening the longer Naruto stayed in his office. "Naruto, leave my office now with Jiraiya. I will not hear anymore complaints or insults from your mouth."
"Yes, sir," said Naruto unenthusiastically as he got up from his seat. "Let's go Mr. Jiraiya. Training awaits us."
Still in shock, Jiraiya turns to look at his old instructor who nods at him.
"Go give him some training and return to report to me," said the Hokage, rubbing his temples. "I'm too old for this shit."
*** Training Ground 7 ***
"So, kid," said Jiraiya casually, finally recovering from his shock. "What have you trained on aside from learning about Seals?"
"My Chakra Control is Elite Jonin Level, my Chakra Reserve is at Elite Kage Level, I'm Jonin Level at Kenjutsu, Taijutsu, Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. I'm currently training my Chakra Control to become Kage Level. I'm almost there. I'd say, at my current pace, it'll take about a month before I fully master it."
"W-when did you ...?" asked Jiraiya before his voice trailing off. Shock overcame him again from the sudden new revelation that he received.
"I started training when I was 4 years old," replied Naruto. "That's when I found out about my parents."
"Who taught you all that?" asked Jiraiya.
"I found all the training manuals in the Namikaze Compound," said Naruto. "I learned them on my own."
"But you needed someone to learn it with," argued Jiraiya. "Plus, even if you started learning from when you were born, it's not long enough to master all of them."
"I can make a shit load of Shadow Clones," said Naruto, bored. "They helped big time since any experience they gain gets transferred to me."
"How many Shadow Clones can you perform?" asked Jiraiya, clearly feeling his sanity leaving him.
" I can make 2,000 Shadow Clones at any given time," replied Naruto, shrugging his shoulders. "No big deal."
"You're a freak, you know that, right?" said Jiraiya, with his mouth hanging wide open.
"Who are you calling you a freak?" asked Naruto angrily. "You're a freak! How dare you call me a freak! I'm no freak!"
"You've basically done something that no other ninja can do, that's why I call you a freak," said Jiraiya. "Alright, I'm going to teach a super Jutsu that's going to leave you in awe!"
"What's it called?" asked Naruto curiously.
"It's the highest form of Chakra Manipulation you can achieve!" said Jiraiya proudly. "You might even be able to advance your Chakra control to the Kage Level if you master it."
"Hmm? Are you talking about the Rasengan?" asked Naruto, starting to lose his interest.
"Yes, you've heard of it?" asked Jiraiya, raising an eyebrow.
"Of course, I have," said Naruto. "It was also in my farher's notes. I can even perform the the Big Ball Rasengan and the Ultra Big Ball Rasengan."
"You can do them as well?" asked Jiraiya hoarsely. He was starting to feel that he had very little to teach this young punk. "What about the Summoning Jutsu?"
"I don't have a Summoning Contract yet but I know how to perform the Jutsu in theory," replied Naruto.
"Great!" exclaimed Jiraiya in delight. "You can make a contract with the toads and you can learn the Summoning Jutsu in practice."
"Urgh ... no thanks," refused Naruto. "I don't want to do a Toad Contract. Don't like Toads."
"Then what contract do you want?" asked Jiraiya, feeling frustrated.
"I don't know yet," confessed Naruto. "But definitely not the Toad Contract."
"Sigh ... fine, but I can teach you another one," said Jiraiya, his eyes lighting up again. "It's the next level of the Rasengan. It takes the Rasengan and adds the change in Chakra Nature with the regular Rasengan, creating a whole new Jutsu. That's something that the Fourth - your father - wanted to achieve. But he couldn't since he didn't have the monstrous Chakra Reserve that you have. Now, do you know what your Chakra Nature affinity is?"
"Yes, it's Wind, Lightning and Fire," replied Naruto. "I've also trained in Earth and Water. But they were super hard and took me a long time to master."
"All five elements?" asked Jiraiya, shock finally overwhelming him, causing him to pass out.
"Great, he fainted," scowled Naruto. "Sigh ... what am I supposed to do now?"
*** An Hour Later ***
About an hour later, Jiraiya finally stirred and recovered from his fainting. He looked around to find out Naruto was sitting under a tree meditation.
'This kid is a monster,' said Jiraiya. 'He's only in his early teens and he's already mastered so much. What the hell am I supposed to teach him aside from getting him to develop the new Jutsu?'
"You're finally awake, Toad Sage," stated Naruto calmly, opening his eyes and looking at Jiraiya.
"You've given me shock after shock today," said Jiraiya, getting up embarrassedly.
"Alright, let's start off the training," said Naruto. "We've wasted enough time."
"Slow down, Kid," said Jiraiya. "Creating a new Jutsu from scratch is gruelling and takes a lot of time. We don't even know if you're going to succeed or not."
"The only way to find out is to try," argued Naruro. "What's your training method?"
"First off, you need to mould Nature Chakra like the Wind Nature so you're able to cut this leaf in the middle while holding it," explained Jiraiya.
"Hmmm ... like this?" asked Naruto, cutting a leaf in the middle with his Wind Chakra.
"You've already mastered Nature Transformation?" asked Jiraiya, eyes bulging out.
"Yeah, long ago," nodded Naruto.
"Your speed is too fast, kid," said Jiraiya with a deep sigh.
"Alright, what's next?" asked Naruto curiously.
"Next is to do the same thing to a waterfall," said Jiraiya. "For this stage, we're going to need the help of someone else. Wait here. I'm going to get him."
"Be quick," said Naruto, returning to his meditation under the tree. Meditation helped him out a lot in clearing his mind. He has been doing it ever since he started his training all those years ago. Lately he's been able to faintly sense the Chakra flow in the air. It was different compared to the normal Chakra he felt in his body. It was more fluid and considerably more powerful. Naruto was cautious with this new type of Chakra as he was not sure of what it did or if it had any side-effects if he were to absorb. Therefore, Naruto continuously meditated to enhance his sensing abilities. This was so he could gain a better understanding of what he was sensing.
*** Hokage's Office ***
"You've come back earlier than I expected, Jiraiya," said the Hokage as he looked at his open window.
"You've raised quite the monster, old man," said Jiraiya, scowling at the Hokage. "How did you manage it?"
"I haven't taught him a single thing," confessed the Hokage. "He's been learning and training on his own for as long aa I can remember."
"Well, there isn't a lot I can teach him," said Jiraiya. "I'm getting him to develop a nee Jutsu. It should keep him busy for the time being."
"So what did you want from me?" asked the Hokage.
"I need Tenzõ," stated Jiraiya. "For his Wood Release."
"Why do you need his Wood Release?" enquired the Hokage, raising an eyebrow.
"Naruto's new training is going to use up a lot of his Chakra," explained Jiraiya. "The Nine-Tails might come out. If it does, I will need Tenzõ's Wood Release to supress the Nine-Tails. Plus, I need him to build a bridge for me."
"Bring me Tenzõ," ordered the Hokage, lookibg at his roof. The Anbu that was hiding immediately vanished to carry out the order.
"Why don't you teach him how to start controlling the Nine-Tails' power?" asked the Hokage.
"It might be a bit too soon for that," replied Niraiya. "I don't know Naruto's full abiliets yet so I can't make a judgement call yet."
Jiraiya and the Hokage both sat in silence for a few more minutes until there was a knock on the wall.
"Come in," said the Hokage.
The office door opened and entered an Anbu. "Sir, you called for me?"
"Yes, I have a new assignment for you, Tenzõ," relplied the Hokage. "I'm reassigning you to the regular forces. Take off your mask."
"Sir," responded the Anbu, taking off his mask. He had short brown hair and black, almond-shaped eyes with a stoic facial expression.
"I want you to change into a Jonin outfit and accompany Jiraiya while he trains a Genin," said the Hokage as he pointed at Jiraiya. "The Genin is Naruto Uzumaki, the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails. During his training, watch out if the Nine-Tails Chakra starts leaking out. If it does, then use your Wood Release to suppress it."
"Understood, Lord Hokage," replied the Anbu, maintaining his stoic expresssion.
"Your codename will be Yamato during this mission," said the Hokage. "Any questions?"
"No sir," responded Yamato.
"Good," said the Hokage with a smile. "Your new mission is to be effective immediately. You have 30 minutes to prepare. Dismissed."
"Sir," said Yamato, disappearing as soon as he saluted the Hokage.
"That reminds me, Naruto has been training for a number of years now, he's never had an incident where the Nine-Tails Chakra has leaked. What makes you think that the Nine-Tails Chakra will leak out now?" asked the Hokage curiously.
"Naruto said to me he's been using the Shadow Clones for his previous training and that he can produce 2,000 Clones at one given time," explained Jiraiya. "His new training will be extremely taxing on his Chakra Reserves and chances are high his Chakra might run out, even if he's got Kage Level Chakra Reserves."
I decided to let Naruto master Rasenshuriken early and have Jiraiya help him learn it.
Let me know your thoughts on the matter.
Also, let me know of any grammatical errors I might have missed out while writing so I can fix it.
