Kang Sola had learned to love Xue Jinxu. She admired her and looked up to her. She had become the girl's idol and personal heroine.

Kang Sola could sense the sadness in the lady's façade even if Xue Jinxu was smiling at her. Her eyes betrayed her. Her Linyun-ge was still missing, and with that knowledge, she felt a slight pinch in her heart too. She felt sad too, but she - and she bets even Xu-Jie - tried to at least appear cheerful in front of each other. If that would give strength to them both, that would certainly be a better way of acting in front of each other.

"En. Yes, Xu-Jie." The girl answered and inquired back. "How's the search?"

Xue Jinxu wrapped one arm around the girl and led her to sit on the couch. She sat beside her, fetched both hands and gave it a slight squeeze. "Not that great. But, I'm not losing hope yet." Xue Jinxu smiled again, her dimple on her left cheek, showing.
