May this novel be a novel that is not ruined with harem. I pray for thee. Lotta characters are needed. I feel like this is stupid. ..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
WHO KEEPS VOTING FOR THESE TYPE OF NOVELS?! Honestly this is getting ridiculous. This whole novel is a mess. The origin of the story is already confusing and unclear. The MC is bland as usual. He suddenly used to be one of the top gamers yet the story contradicts itself and mentions he was librarian hence why he knows so much information. I am done. Please give us a passable novel at least. My expectations has decayed. I only want to read clear somewhat interesting novel. Is that hard to achieve? 😒😩😩
Well, for the 20 or so chapter, you'll have every trope that a xianxia novel can have throw at you. I'm talking about the seeming thrash clan/family/group heir with great potential, the overly strong maid/butler, the transmigrant and time traveler which can pull out of his as* all the mumbo jumbo in the existence, and, last but not least, a obnoxius enemy young master in the power play. But the people like it, so if that is your thing, rejoice.
Am giving one star review because qidian blocked my previous review because it was negative review with 3 start. Is qidian trying to increase the review rating for the qidian novels by blocking all negative comments and bad reviews? Btw this novel one of the worst beginning , hopefully it get better .
I don't usually read Eastern Fantasy but this one seems really interesting, been hearing about it from some discord servers and honestly I'm excited uwu uwu uwu
Overall i rate this story below average. Let’s start with the main character. In his past life in the future he was one of the absolute best players of a cultivation mmorpg. He apparently memorized all the video fames cultivation techniques (as if a game would ever explain to the player how the fireball skill worked) and has a perfect memory of his worlds past 10000 years history. Note “world” not country. So even in our premise, the main character is unbelievable. He gets sent into the past to inhabit the body of a trash(but secretly super op) young master. It is explained that his mother is a legendary 7 tailed fox spirit and his father some legendary human. Then later his dad is suddenly a legendary 9 tailed fox. Where the hell is the human coming from? Also mixed breeds is a thing in this past life, but no one has ever bothered to look into helping mixed breeds learn how to cultivate apparently because EVERYONE is as dumb as the author. The main character in his weak(not weak) body gets to his first fight and proceeds to one shot someone 8ish cultivation ranks higher. This downgrades the main character to a one star Wannabe one punch man. Side characters. We meet two temp side characters. It mysterious OP guy who new the MC’s dad, and catgirl 13 year old lolly who os really around 6 in her own people’s life. Naturally our main character drools like the pedophile he, and no doubt the author are, as this lolly gets drenched and the main character proceeded to admire her curves. World. The world is an absolute mystery, and by that i mean the main character knows every about it while having amnesia about the world. It gets 2 stars only because it give us a description of one town, sorta. In summary , i am dropping this story as i am against pedophelia. I recommend you do the same.
Revelar spoilertypical trash xianxia/xuanhuan. Read ahead in the raws. MC talks the talk but don't walk the walk. Switches back and forth between his calculating, experienced apex cultivator self (from the VR game) and a bumbling teenaged hot-headed xianxia MC.
Seems to be written by a child. It is pedantic and unimaginative. It keeps talking about an mmo game but doesn't really explain it. I gave it 4 stars only because it does have some potential. It was a struggle to get through 16 chapters.
5 stars only for countering people that vote 1 star for no fucking reason, it's a cultivation story you cant put 1 star because it has harem or not but alas, some people are retarded @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
If you think this is another wuxia trope full of cliche stereotypes, then you're completely right - BUT with the exception that the author has used a nice twist on each of the cliche. Trash MC that cant cultivate, but then magically solves his physique problems? Got it, but it takes a long time, and as of chapter 170, he's still struggling with it. Childhood fiance that comes to break up the engagement? Got it, but then due to righteousness sticks with the MC, as it would go against her values to go against her father's arrangement and kick a person just because he's down. Arrogant sect comes to take revenge after a few insignificant disciples being beaten (and thus in their eyes being humiliated)? Got it, but then the sect comes to apologise after learning that it was actually their disciples that were in the wrong. So yup, full of cliches, but they're refreshing. Another thing that's refreshing is the eccentric and very humoristic characters in the story. Yea, again, they're cliche, but they're pretty funny, and they each have their small quirk. Although the characters aren't that developed, it's a huge improvement to character development compared to many many other Chinese novels out there, where sometimes sidecharacters don't even have a sentence to describe them. Though full of mild praise, the world background is pretty convoluted, and the reader is only introduced to a small area of the world as you go along. Although this avoids information dumps, after 100+ chapters, it's pretty hard to figure out where the MC is in this world, and what the world actually looks like. On the topic of convoluted, the martial system is pretty difficult to understand, he opens meridians to advance, but there are never give a clear explanation to as what element meridians belong to which level or how many meridians he should open of each. Things are kind of mentioned on the fly, making the read just having to deal with it by accepting it. E.g., suddenly the author could mention, "now I've broken through the water meridian and opened my acupuncture, I'm now 1 step close to the martial warrior stage". Great, but how does this work? How many acupuncture do you have to open? What elements are there? Etc. Just reading about it, makes it all seem so messy - where if the author explained the system proactively, the reader would be able to keep track of the MCs progress. Another thing is the release stability - pretty damn horrible I'd say. Last release (as of writing) was 10 days ago, and before that it was pretty spotty with around a new chapter every 4~9 days. This really sucks, especially when this a really unique wuxia novel that does it's best to stand out from the crowd. So @translator, if you cant do your job stably, give it to someone else, hire more help, or give a clear message on what readers can expect from you. It says 8 chapters a week, but you're FAR from fulfilling that! Regarding the translation quality, there are some mistakes in both translation and grammar. Move over, there are mistakes in for example translating key information like the martial warrior stages, where one stage is used twice. Big no no, that a basic proof read should have caught. Overall, interesting story, funny characters with a world that feels developed. I hope that there will come a main heroine soon to bring some romance into the story, and a reveal of a deeper plot, which it really needs. So far the author has tried to hold back on filler chapters, but the translator stability and quality is a downside. I'd give the story 4.5/5, but the translator is bringing this story down by a notch. TL;DR: Give it a go, if you like wuxia novels and you're looking for something refreshing with a different spin.
I honestly tried to give it a chance but this novel makes no sense. It mentions so many unexplainable things that are probably thrown in there to make the MC more op. Annoying. Even the synopsis has a few grammatical errors. I was very tempted to write a review that gave a lesson on the English language and why that synopsis shouldn't exist in this world but then I remembered that Qidian doesn't pay me a salary.
The translator randomly posts chapter in any order as per his his fancy. This is not an error that occurs once but has happened at least 5 times in the past few months. It destroys the story continuity and wastes the spirit stones. Also stops notifications when the actual chapters in sequence release because it's not the most recent chapter.
Dropped. Inconsistent release. PENTAGON's Hui won second place on Mnet's music battle show "BREAKERS." The finale included the Top 4 participants: Hui, Penomeco, Seo Samuel, and Mia. Penomeco won 1st place on the show. During the finale, Hui performed his self-composed song "For You," a track expressing that he will keep on going despite the hardships in life, because there are always people watching over him. "BREAKERS" is a show where singer-songwriters battle by producing songs according to a theme or concept. Congratulations, Hui!
Look at these old men, rating it 1 star for having a harem. Legit, in the synopsis, "surrounded by beauties." If you don't like harem and already read the synopsis, go away and read something else. No need to rate it 1 star. Plus, harems aren't the only factors in a story so rating it 1 star is just prejudice. God damn scums.
It's just typical transmigration story like other stories in Webnovel. MC get back to the past, have beautiful females on his side, bullied, learning superb skills that only he knows It's just so-so in my opinion
another interesting novel 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘

Revelar spoilerSo the reason this deserves a bad review imo, is because it’s ultimately pointless to read a novel that was canceled. Even if it’s super cool there’s literally no conclusion. The author decided to abandon the novel on chapter 1228, though he did apologize. But just that makes reading this novel, a colossal waste of time. It had some promise at the start, but the whole story fell apart around chapter 800, and the whole novel becomes an unredeemable disappointment.
