Capítulo 52: Incoming [Jamie]

Brit burst into the room. "JAMIE, WE NEED TO TALK!" Her breathing was heavy. "Woah," Bill stood up. I never really realized before, but he towers over her, even though he's shorter than most guys. "Calm down, catch your breath, then talk." She glared at him, "We don't have time for that."

"What do you mean?"

"It's Lucifer. He just took out an entire solar system." Bill stepped back, "He what?" I tried to comprehend what she just said. "Are you sure?" Akumura sat there as if she just talked about a toddler smashing a sand castle, "Earth's deities are just country level at strongest. There's no way the only beings higher than them are solar system level."

"Yes, I'm sure. Dracula and Oberon are strong, yes, but they're made of a fraction of Lucifer and Satan's power. There was a single battle in which the two fought, and it took out almost an entire galaxy." Akumura fell off the chair he was sitting in, "Are you serious?!" Brit just nodded, "Yes, I am. Bill, go find some way to contact Satan, and take Akumura with you too. Jamie, come with me, it's about time you meet my father."

I'm not sure what I expected a portal to the Fairy's home to look like, but it certainly wasn't a table in a Mexican restaurant. "Just, close your eyes, and focus on this," she put a small card on the table, "It's the main gate to the Fairy realm." I nodded, and closed my eyes. The air around me got tight, so much to the point where I started going numb. I opened my eyes for a split second, and when I did, I regretted doing so.

It's hard to explain what I saw. I only saw some features. It had 5 eyes, tentacles, or something like them, coming out of where it's mouth should be, and it's head was larger that I was. I closed my eyes again, and the air started thinning. "You can open them now." I opened my eyes, half expecting to see whatever it was I saw before. "Welcome to my home." It looked just like Eaststeel, but with trees and streets made of roots instead of buildings and asphalt. "What was that?" She tilted her head, "What was what?"

"I saw something, while we were warping here."

"Did you open your eyes?"

"Maybe. But it was instinctual!" She grabbed my arm, and started pulling me.

"You're lucky you didn't go mad. That was an area outside our universe! Most beings would be lucky to comprehend just the space around them! I could sense it's presence while we were there. You didn't see it, did you?"

"See what?" She sighed, "No one's seen it except for God, Dielzavod, Satan, and Luci-" She pulled out a small notepad and started writing something on it, "Could it be because-" she scratched whatever she was writing out, "No, it can't. Not even Oberon can."

"Alright, quit with the pronoun game, what is 'it'?"

"Cthulhu. It was, the first thing in the universe. Well, closer to the only thing before the universe. It took God, Dielzavod, Lucifer, and Satan to simply seal him away in an area outside of the universe. He's the most powerful being in existence, even more powerful than God was. There have been few who have looked at him since then, but I can tell you, almost all of them have ended up going mad."

"And the ones who didn't?"

"Well, you are the one who didn't. I don't really know why, but I'm guessing it's because you are more of Lucifer than most beings in the Universe, being his daughter."

We kept walking, Brit expositing small things about the place, like the fact that the Norse belief of the World Tree came from the Fairy Realm's wood-based structure. "Well, here we are." We stood in front of a door at least three times the size of me. Brit knocked, and the doors swung inward. Right as I walked in, I was stopped by two Fairies, far more conventional looking than Brit, aside form the fact they were wearing suits, and carried wooden guns. "At ease," A voice boomed from a staircase in front of us, "Don't you know how to treat guests?"

"But sir-" One of them started. "I said," the voice replied, "Do you not know how to treat guests?"

"Y-yes sir. Please, this way." The two escorted me to a room, away from Brit.

I sat on a chair, waiting, until eventually the door opened. Brit stood in front of a man who looked to be at least 7 feet tall. He had black hair, and a short beard. "So, I take it you're the daughter of Lucifer Brit has been talking about." I nodded. "Well then," he held out his hand, "My name is Oberon, the king of the Fairies." I grabbed his hand, and was immediately pulled into a hug, "Welcome sister!"

"Dad," Brit cleared her throat, "we've got things to discuss."

"Oh," Oberon let go of me and backed away, "Come with me. If what Brit said is true, we have much to discuss."

"And as of now," Brit's ears flattened, "That's out plan. I know, it's not the-"

"So, what you're getting at, is you're openly trusting the Demons. The same people who started this conflict in the first place?"

"I know, but it wasn't our idea," Brit crossed her arms, "It was one of our friend's. His name is Bill Walker. Similar to Jamie, he's the son of one of the modern original two."

"So, a son of Dielzavod." Brit shook her head, "No, he was assassinated a few months ago. The original two are not Lucifer and Satan." Oberon stroked his beard, "So, he's a son of Satan. How sure are you that you can trust him?"

"Well," Brit pulled out her wand, and projected an image of Bill from it onto the table, "I've been in the same dorm as him for a 5 months now, and Jamie lived with him on the streets since they were 12. If he had any malicious intent, by now he would've acted upon it. He had the perfect opportunity to recently as well. Yesterday, there was an attack on the school by a local gang. The attack would've been a prefect opportunity for him to betray us, but he didn't."

"Well," Oberon looked at Brit, "I trust your judgement. Whenever Lucifer decides to attack, contact me, and I'll be sure to send some help." Brit nodded, "Thank you. I know I don't come here often, but I do appreciate this."

We walked along the streets, "So," I looked at Brit, "You're telling me that Lovecraft wasn't insane."

"Oh, he was," She looked around, then pulled me in an alley, "But, he was on the right path. The man was the exact kind of insane to be able to get a glimpse into the unknown, and when he did, it only made his conditions worse. He 'documented' his experiences in his books, but everyone just saw them as fiction." She looked around the corner, then walked back onto the street, "What I was saying earlier is that Cthulhu is real, but not what most see it as."

"Well," I nervously chuckled, "Good thing we won't have to deal with it. I mean, it's sealed away, right?"

"Yes, but no one knows how much longer the seal will last since God and Dielzavod are dead." She pulled out the same card from earlier, and placed it on the ground, "This time, try not to open your eyes." I nodded, and closed my eyes.
