Looking towards the rest of the districts it was pretty much exactly as you'd expect, the Housing district had old archaic looking designs, though because of their age there was a kind of character about the district giving off the feeling of high class society, the people wearing nice clothing with a few having noble garbs followed by bodyguards everywhere, these people clearly belonging to a noble house or clan, a few of which looked towards Pan with greed in apparent in their eyes but immediately retracted their gazes upon seeing Chaos though a few were bold enough to stay the course only to have their eyebrows and hair burnt to a crisp but none of them tried anything more after a making a few new bald nobles.
The only strange district they didn't visit was the red light district, though Chaos was curious as to what it was, Pan would not allow him to go saying 'It's boring there anyways, nothin to see' in thugish voice.
Finally came the military training grounds where they were allowed inside albeit reluctantly.
"Seems like we still aren't very trusted despite joining huh." Pan said feeling hurt at how she was being treated.
'Can you really blame them? The Captain said they were 'run out of' their previous world, they must have had it rough so the fact foreigners like us are allowed is already giving up a lot of ground don't you think.' This was when Chaos came in to the defense of the kingdom though not calming her fury just making it quieter with her fuming in silence.
Within the Military quarters there were several large buildings meant to house the troops but many of this massive installations were not being used at all just gaining dust because of the insufficient soldiers, though they look like they were used before frequently giving off a creepy feeling.
Further inside their were also several training ground with dummy figures in the lower level fields and deeper into the district the dummy's started moving to attack back slowly at first becoming faster and made out of stronger materials the higher the level training ground.
Eventually they arrived in front of the palace at the center of the military district, the guards at the front all giving a powerful feeling just like the captain had been giving off before just that these guards were not holding back their pressure barely letting people get within fifty meters of the palace doors.
'It's about time we leave.' Said Chaos sourly turning to leave, though in his heart he silently vowed to enter the court one day and explore the palace.
"Alright!" Pan said back openly angered by the treatment they had gotten of not even being allowed to get to the door.
With this Pan jumped onto his back and Chaos jogged out of the district towards the commerce district to search around for a black smiths shop.
'Do you still wanna keep that great ax or do you want a different weapon now?' He asked Pan as they arrived inside of the commerce district.
"I want a warhammer, a big warhammer, the feeling of slicing through flesh is disgusting." She said without missing a beat.
'Wouldn't you want something more ladylike, maybe a whip?' Chaos asked to be certain that she had the resolve to stick to her words, as once they bought the warhammer they would not be buying another new weapon until that one had worn out or broke.
"No! I want a warhamer!" She said stubbornly making a wisp of a smiling expression light up his face, as they were now standing in front of one of the smithies.
'Then go get your hammer.' Chaos said happily lying down at the entrance.
"Mhm." Without a word back Pan moved into the store.
Inside the walls were lined with all sorts of weapons with a discarded weapons barrel in the corner making the entire shop have a feeling of age and character.
Behind the counter stood a average height man, ordinary brown hair and eyes, thick arms and sharp features, the man looking to be around forty years old.
The sounds of forging constantly ringing our from behind him.
"Welcome to Smashing Hammer, we specialize in blunt force combat, what would you be looking for today, Madam?" The man said in a fluent voice sounding as if he had said the same words hundreds of times.
'Madam?!? I'm not that old!!!' Pan upon hearing the words 'madam' on the other hand had a vein visibly burst out on the side of her head feeling hurt and attacked.
"I want a warhammer!" She said as politely as her anger would let her, grinding each word out.
"I have just the thing for you." He said moving towards one of the racks pulling of a huge one and a half meter long Warhammer handing it to her with one hand unperturbed by her angry expression.
However to his surprise Pan received the warhammer with one hand and swung it around.
"Too light." She said shocking the black smith, and she was being honest with her evaluation, she didn't like the it, it was too light.
"That their is the heaviest weapon in the store, you'll have to go to 'The Warring Hammer' if you want something better and heavier."
And so they did head to 'The Warring Hammer' but the weapons their did not fit her taste either and so they ended up going all around the commerce district looking for the perfect fit.
Finally ending up in an alley where the last black smith shop in the entire commerce district was located.
The sign half broken and rotted was on the ground next to the door.
Walking inside a short person with a long beard sat in the corner sleeping with a pipe in his mouth, appeared into her vision.
Ignoring him for now Pan started looking around at the old Warhammers on the walls, taking them off and swinging them around but once again none of them seemed to fit, becoming desperate she started looking through the discarded pile in the dusty corner of the shop.
It was there that a weak fluctuation of wind energy started emitting the closer she got, resonating with her, by the time she arrived at the pile the resonance was so strong her body was vibrating, directly pushing all of the other hammers out of the way Pan grabbed for the handle at the very bottom.
Unbeckownst to her a pair of silver grey eyes had opened and were staring at her.
"If you touch that weapon, you must be ready to accept the consequences." The little man said, but hearing this Pan's resolve just further solidified and she grabbed the hammer.
It was then that the windows of the shop broke, intense winds filled the room surrounding Pan, the warhammer humming with a fierce wind energy rushing into her body tearing at her organs, but precisely at that moment the fuzzy symbol of the wind fruit in her head started glowing an intense radiance directly sucking all of the wind energy into it making it more and more solid for every second that passed.
In a few breathes time the phenomenon had ended and Warhammer in hand Pan exited the tornado like winds directly dispersing it.
In her mind the Symbol had completely formed into a solid entity, her wind element prowess improving by leaps and bound, her dog tags shining with a small light also changed from 'Peak rank 0' to 'Low Rank 1 like' Chaos'.
The Warhammer also felt familiar in her hands, like long lost lovers meeting again in an unexpected place.
"You are quite the special little snowflake now aren't you girly." The aged voice in the corner spoke out once again, "You owe me for the windows and the hammer now that it has acknowledged you as its master, I won't be able to sell it."
"How much?" Pan said anxiously, only now realizing she hadn't traded the cores for currency yet.
"One hundred thousand gold coins for the hammer and an extra fifty gold coins for the damage to my shop." Giving out the price the aged voice looked at her with expectant eyes.
"I only have monster cores, I'm sorry, could I pay you with those?" She said genuinely feeling bad for taking such good stuff and not being able to pay for it.
"Yeah, Ok, that'll be a thousand low quality cores, a hundred medium quality cores, 10 high quality cores or one special core." The dwarf like man said.
Pulling out the baby wyrm core the mans eyes shone with mysterious light as in the next moment it was out of her hand and into his.
"Where did you get this?" He said seriously while examining it.
'You found it.' Chaos told her.
"We found it." She said in her most normal voice possible.
"So you killed it huh." The dwarf-ish man said completely seeing through Pan without any struggle at all, leaving her feeling hurt since she thought she had done a good job, though Chaos wasn't surprised at all since her entire 'natural' tone sounded completely unnatural.
"Well, I'll strike you a deal, none of the hammers here can hold this kind of powerful gem accept for that one you got in your hand, I can forge this into that hammer so that as you grow it grows with you, but it will make all Wyrms your enemy on sight." The dwarf-ish man said looking towards Pan expectantly.
"I'll do it!" Pan said without a shred of hesitation or regret not waiting for Chaos' input making him feel left out in the situation.
'Then do it whatever.' Chaos murmured through the connection walking back outside.
Then the man did something completely unexpected and broke the Wyrm crystal in half, one must know that not even with Chaos' teeth could he scratch those crystals let alone break it, yet this man broke it in a single swing of his hammer cracking perfectly in the middle with exact symmetrical sides.
"Absorb this using your symbol mark, when the hammer is finished it will naturally have a stronger connection with you and you'll be able to send your energy into it as well as being the only one able to use it, once it is finished you will naturally know.
"also, I'm Kai of the grey dwarfs, now go away shu shu i must get to work." Making the gesture to get out with sparkles in his eyes he turned back to the hammer and ran into the forge.
