He had tried to pry info about the third zone where Coco had taken a few Legions surrounding one of them all alone but to no avail...
Well no matter, he looked towards the center of the room where the chained Ryouji was as the chains kept glowing and glowing while syphoning his magic away...

Panther Lily uses his giant sword to slice away at Gajeel who had transformed both of his hand into steel swords and started trading blows...
In terms of swordsmanship Lily easily overwhelmed Gajeel in the bout part as Gajeel landed on a floating island...
As Gajeel tries to slash him, Panther Lily just dodged by flying away, before slamming down his massive sword and cutting the island in half causing Gajeel to fall off...
Using his legs, Gajeel activated his magic from there and extended two steel pillars allowing him to raise up in the sky and catch up with Lily...
Gajeel : Gege... Too easy!!!
Panther Lily : Down you went, down you stay!!!
Panter Lily : Haaaaaahhh!!!!
Clang!!!! Clang!!!! Clang!!!! Clang!!!! Clang!!!!
Gajeel : Nope, i decided...
With Lily's sword trying to slash at Gajeel's iron scales, which allowed him to withstand an attack from him, Gajeel grinned as he declared his decision stunning Lily in the process...
Gajeel : I like your character... Therefore you will be my cat companion.

Just as he declared his intentions, Gajeel caught his sword and showed him that he is stronger than his sword by breaking the sword in two leaving him frozen on the spot...
