Lu Xinyi's gaze softened when she saw him. His presence had somehow had a soothing effect on her, making her forget her worries.

She thought how lucky she was for having an understanding husband as him and in-laws who accepted her in spite of her connection with the Sun family. There was no one around and in his presence, she didn't need to pretend at all. 

Lu Xinyi finished her call at once and informed the secretary that she would be busy for the next few days and wouldn't be able to visit Chairman Sun. 

After seeing her put down the phone, Shen Yi approached her and wrapped his arms around her. 

The moment he held her, Lu Xinyi's posture relaxed and she voluntarily leaned against him for support.

"Are you tired?" Shen Yi asked, noticing the darkening circles under her eyes. His wife wasn't getting enough sleep lately and was restless. Maybe he should bring her to Zhao Xi for a checkup.
