He couldn't help but caress her head.
He already chided her for becoming horny in a danger zone and attacking him, which caused Vereina to be trapped.
Thinking back, he now knew the old witch waited for Vereina to be disturbed before she took over her soul. That disturbance was caused by him and Stella becoming passionate shamelessly. The old witch took advantage of that, or Vereina might've been able to resist at least a bit until she informed him.
It would've made things a whole lot easier.
Nonetheless, after he chided Stella gently, he spent two whole days with her, pounding her every few hours.
