"Shirley…!"

Davis flinched before he covered his front with soul force, making it into an opaque wall that didn't let Shirley see what was happening behind them. Isabella also relaxed, seemingly holding onto Davis for help.

However, it could be said that they were too reactive as Shirley already had her head lowered, her face crimson. Her ears were also shaded with a red hue, allowing Davis to notice that she was perhaps not expecting them to go at it like this without locking the door.

"Hmm… Davis… Isabella… I'm sorry for interrupting at this time… I thought that I could offer some ideas… but… something else is going on. Still, can I… join?"

"Su-"

Davis almost instinctively replied  as he thought of excusing her, but then suddenly he realized what she said, causing him to become dumbfounded.
