Amidst the bloody fight, Young master Hei couldn't explain the strange feelings that were stirring inside his chest. His brows were drawn even tighter together. He felt as if his heart could explode at any moment.

…Was the poison acting up in his body?

Hui Lan felt the absence of the young master she came with, so she turned around to search for him, but he was awfully still and was frowning to himself.

"Young master Hei?" However, there was no answer from the other.

"Xiao Mao, watch out for me, I'm going to check on him." She finally stopped and quickly drew back to his side. 

Her small hand reached for his broad shoulders and gently pressed on it, "Young master Hei."

He looked at her dazedly. All of a sudden, he could feel his breathing become rapid and the area where she pressed grew like a hot iron.

Sweat emerged around his hairline and his face turned red.
