Xu Qingzhi twisted her mouth with displeasure when she recalled how coldly Gao Peng had treated her just before. She could not have cared any less about him right then.

The laboratory's spotless white doors were pushed open, and Gao Peng stepped out of the room in a flowing white robe. He then sat down on the sofa and said, "Pour me a cup of water, thanks."

"Oh," said Xu Qingzhi. She poured a cup of water from the water dispenser and handed it to him.

After, she sensed that something wasn't quite right with this picture. I'm your assistant, not your maid! she thought angrily.
