Capítulo 31: Forced to get along
The next day was to be a half day so as to allow room for the students to get more familiar with the school layout. Kazuto and Touka were slightly worried whether the chairman's plan would work or not. Because they could not help but think that his idea was had a weird logic behind it… purposely messing with the water system of the one of the dorms so as to ruin the clothes and personal effects of the residents; clearly was turning black to white for the sake of making them get along with each other. Hopeless Touka and Kazuto had no choice but to play along the chairman's antiques.
Once they headed to their dorm after another heated polite conversation with their fellow classmates the wallflowers could not wait to go back and change out of these horrible male clothing. Only to find that the whole building was flooded due to some pipes cracking. From the layout of the pipe system the leaks happen to be near their closets… all their clothes were moved out of the way by the workers and got more wet after the whole repair process.
Daniel came on site and apologized before saying that they could leave for mainland to get more of their stuffs and that their classmates could come along to help with the carrying of luggage. Their houses were informed of the accident and were already packing necessities for them at the moment; the teachers shall accompany them too fro the trip.
Within the following half hour, the whole class was gathered waiting for the ferry that will take them back and forth from the school. Once everyone was seated Kazuto looked at everyone before speaking.
"I know that this was an unfortunate accident and that you must all be really weary of the situation but I hope that you can all cooperate together so that we can get this done quickly and help clean up the dorm for them to at least spend the night if not they will go the other dorm till the situation is resolved."
"We will have to spilt in pairs so that we won't waste any time! Pairs are going to be determined by drawing a number so divide yourselves in two equal groups and each group either draw their lots from me or Kazuto. No one is to complain and swap numbers!"
Everyone quietly drew a lot and went back to their seats and a painful silence reigned the rest of the trip. Once they reached mainland everyone got down and lined up in ascending order. Seeing that things still looked quite tensed Kazuto was still septic about the chairman's plan.
"Each of you get along with your pair and be back here to get back to the Academy in at most three hours." Said Touka before heading out with her partner.
Leaving the others with an awkward after taste as no one had the heart or the energy to contradict her as their mind was more centered toward how these three hours were going to pass.
