To say that Lawrence was surprised was an understatement. He did expect that Rion would try to negotiate with him, but he never thought the man would bargain for Sara's freedom.

Lawrence's eyes squinted as he looked at the other man on the other side of his desk. He tried to see if there was any hint of deception, but Rion's indifferent cold mask as a businessman concealed his thoughts. His background as the acquisition manager of his uncle's company was what made Lawrence interested in his capabilities.

He didn't mind releasing Sara from her post, but if he could make Rion Stahl join Yun Electronics, it would be beneficial on his part. If Rion joined the company in place of Sara, Lawrence wouldn't have to worry much about his sister's future while he was keeping an eye on Rion.

"I'm not sure if Sara had told you the specifics of the contract, but by accepting and signing it, you are bound to work for our company for three years."
