By the time he got to 700 Ao Rai had started to crack, becoming insane, however he persevered, since he had already come so far, retaining his own memories from each reincarnation and living life out through someone else's eyes. By the 900th life Ao Rai had fully cracked, yet by the 970th he had recovered, going through a cycle and becoming frantic once again, before finally becoming apathetic and numb by the 990th life, with merely 9 more to go before he was truly reincarnated as himself once again. Finally, Ao Rai, with a calm and unshaken will now being emanated from his body, with an aura of ancientness and having seen through life and death being diffused outward as well from his body, he moved the piece for the 999th time, and went through the final reincarnation. This time when Ao Rai awoke from his reincarnation, the chessboard was gone and there was only a manual remaining, titled, World Dao:Art of 1000 Reincarnations. Picking up the manual and opening it, Ao Rai read the inscription inside, on the sole page of the manual.
