Capítulo 98: Lost Shrine

The day after welcoming Kroshe and finding the shrine.

By now, September had reached its midpoint, and the days were becoming cooler. Unlike the late summer heat that lingered in Japan, the climate here started cooling much earlier. There were many advantages to living in this world, but this was one thing that definitely felt superior to Japan.

As Wataru got out of bed and stepped out of the bedroom, he was met with the sight of a visibly exhausted Kroshe. When she noticed Wataru, she let out a sharp gasp, her entire body tensing up. It wasn't a normal reaction, which made Wataru curious.

Their eyes met, and Kroshe let out a low growl, her throat rumbling. Had he done something to warrant this kind of reaction?

"Uuuuuuuuugh..."

"What's wrong, Kroshe?"

"H-Howawawa... I-It's nothing at all!"
