The boy, around 17 years old, possessed a sharp visage, handsome features, vantablack hair, and gray eyes that fluctuated in color with his emotions. He tightly held a beautiful girl with soft skin, alluring blood-red eyes, silver-blonde hair, and an hourglass figure. Together, they gazed to their left, where a gorgeous young woman of their age captured the boy's attention. What fascinated him the most were her brown wolf-like ears and a constantly wagging tail, accompanied by a joyful smile on her face. His brown eyes look sharp and mytical yet despite his beauty, the dirty background alley ruin the picture. I quickly rub my eye after observing the man. My white sweater sleeve immidietly was wet in tears and snot. "Um....who are you?" I say, trying to sound softly and un-crying like. "I just heard you crying, are you ok ma'am?" 'Ma'am? Is he talking to someone else?' I look around and saw noone is in the alley except me and him. 'Of course, no lady will be in this dirty alley anyway' "...did he think i was a girl?" I talk outloud. I quickly put my palm in my mouth looking at him, his face change into a gapping idiot after he heard what i just said. "Um...your...a...guy?" The man say, his face look embarress. I just nod looking at him–i relizes there was a scar in his cheeks. It was distracting, the scar trails trought his right eye covering his white skin. "Um...anyway–are you okay....man?" "Yeah.....im okay....uh thanks...stranger...." i answer awkwardly. I was still wearing my uniform and hat. I probably look stupid right now "Did you get fired?" The man quickly say. I flinch back as he was near me–closer than before. "Um...yeah..." i fidget my finger and step back a little looking at the side. There was a person named Xiu, he lived in a world where gates exist but to fight off the monsters inside the people who could awaken in this world were hybrids or awaken with genes of other animals. The animal could be a real animal like dogs or cats, they could be extinct animals like dinosaurs or a wolly mammoth or they could be like the monsters from the gates or something that comes out of a novel like goblins or dragons. Each Gene has a attack, defense, movement, mystic and unique skill, the first three could explain be explained by itself but the other two were special. The mystic skill was a skill that all of those who shared the same animal gene would have and the unique skill is a skill created from a mixture of your gene and the gene that you have mixed into yourself. But Xiu was didn't awaken with a gene and it was the first recorded instance of that generation of happening so he was bullied for being weak and pathetic because everyone was ranked by strength. For The Love Of The Game
A young basketball star, age 13, coming up on 14 soon, loves to play basketball, and actually is insanely good at it. Not only is he fast, and has the stamina to maintain through an entire 48 minutes, but he also is a hard worker. After school, he usually goes to work out after all of that, doing his best to always be in the most fit, and the most pristine shape, all at the exact same time as well. There is only one problem in this story, which is the simple fact, that he is short, and you know the old term, usually for basketball, but also for a lot of other sports, which was 'short people can't play'. To be fair, all at the exact same time as well, the kid is still young, and he still has room to grow, but he is very short, and that means it's nearly impossible to shoot on his defenders. Luckily, his dribbling skills, and his moves work for him, and usually get the defender of balance, giving him an easy shot, but some times, he does not even have to do that, as he can pass it to an outlet man, and a shooter, or perhaps a big man in the paint. Trevor, is a very great player none the less, and he does a good job on rec league teams. He is tired of rec league though, and he wants to play high school basketball. The high school team has open try outs around early in the year, and he goes to the try out, all at the exact same time too. As he goes to try out, the coach just laughs at him, and doesn't really give him a chance, as he doesn't make the cut when all is said and done. This really hurts Trevor, as he wants a chance to do some thing with his skills. After school that day, he goes to his mother, and some how manages to transfer schools, to bit of a school out in the ghetto, as that is his only other choice. He tries out for the team there, but comes to find out that they have no coach, as their last one died last year. Without a coach, they have no team? Trevor is lost, but there is some one that is near him, he might be able to help him...
