I liked the way you made the dark seep through the cracks. With the amount of knowledge he has, and his drive towards magic, he's not really a sane guy. After the previous vaults and the emotional rollercoaster of the sin arc, not only is he supposed to be powerful, but it was about time for him to show others he's a powerful West. Yeah, I definitely liked the way his darkness seeped through the cracks....
