All land is leased from the Empire. Residential leases are renewable every 99 years. Commercial and agricultural lands are distributed based on merit and capability.

Shraddha lived a very frugal and humble lifestyle. So even if she got a lot of allowance she would be hesitant to use it.

She returned home after a while; her father was a rich man and had a huge mansion in the city. It was too huge for just two people and she couldn't really get used to the massive size.

Never understood why the Allies discouraged the use of the name Adolf. The name is never a evil but the person is.

But more importantly, Bruno was agitated because those patents more or less belonged to him. What he was talking about was the creation of Bakelite, the first synthetic plastic in the world. Originally invented in some primitive form by Adolf von Baeyer in 1872, it was initially believed to have no real commercial applications and thus was relatively forgotten about until just a year or two prior when the process was improved upon and perfected by a Belgian chemist by the name of Leo Baekeland.
