So far is ok, even though the mc is dumb, it's refreshing from all the smart mcs which I know most preferred, not enough dumbass mcs in the novel franchise imo. The world building is solid. Writing needs a lot of work, I can tell English might not be the author's first language, Hope to see improvement later on.
