Jai has been a fan of the book unOrdinary ever since he first read it, and knowing that abilities exist, he wishes he had one. His wish comes true one cold winter day when he is lost in a forest near his village in the southern mountains of Mythotia. He discovers his idols Seraphina and John on the run from officers from the past. He helps them hide, and in return, they test his potential ability level. It turns out to be a ten, surpassing even Seraphina’s own, and Jai starts to boost his power dramatically in months, and eventually helps the pair clear their names by making the past, and future, realise that power should not judge a person.
