A Fallen refers to the quality of their essence/cores, its like being level 3. A demon refers to the quantity of cores, its like having 3 reserves of essence. All nightmare creatures will be named as a combination of these rank and class where rank is quality and class is quantity. So the thing Sunny just killed was a Fallen Monster, thus having an essence 3 times more refined than Sunny's and having 2 core of this essence. The ranks goes: Dormant, Awekened, Fallen/Ascended, Corrupted/Transcended, Great/Supreme, Cursed/Sacred, Unholy/Divine The classes goes: Beast, Monster, Demon, Devil, Tyrant, Terror, Titan

he meant hide his shadow on anvils so the shadow would replicate his movements and help sunny understand it better. he did this once with Nephys way back on forgotten shore to help him crack the shadow dance
