What does a pet beasts poison have to do with the beast trainers body? I can understand a beast training technique allowing a beast trainer to borrow a pet beasts attribute, but how does the existence of poison in a pet beast raise a beast trainers strength just like that?

That’s only true if the technical knowledge is there, at that point you can maximise the amount of stats a pet can have at each bloodline level. The problem is that overlord level mechanical knowledge would probably take atleast dozens of years of research for just small upgrades if you research by yourself. If there’s millions of people researching and the knowledge is mostly shared, then the mechanical pet beast would probably be the strongest at each bloodline level.
In fact, his confidence wasn't unfounded; the Mechanic Series is recognized by the Human Tribe of the Star-Moon World as the strongest Attribute next to Space-Time.
