As the light faded, oohs and ahhs consumed the field as six Cherubim Gatekeepers became visible in all their terrible glory. that's all nice and all but you're treading a little too far into Messiah territory which makes a very terrible story this entire chapter so far has been basically saying how great he is and very little character interaction... this is an observation not a complaint
As for the Forever Knights themselves, I would argue that this is the highest they had ever been. By raising myself through their ranks I'm sure there will be plenty of benefits to reap.
