That’s a pretty cool theory. First time hearing about it. Witchers were meant to be much more than what they are now. They were to be the perfect battle mages according to the sorcerers who came up with the concept, but they fell below expectations in the magic department. I can see them being sterilized after that since they could not fulfill their original role.

That’s actually a very good point. I haven’t thought about it like that. Her ideology doesn’t suit adventurers who aim for the top, but is ideal for average adventurers who are just trying to make it to the next day.

In both the Witcher verse and Danmachi mages have to cast their spells through chants or gestures, so that will not be going away. Though he can, through training and mastery, shorten chants to a point he only needs to say the name of the spell to cast it.

How fast one matures is dependant on life experiences and situation. I know 15 year olds who are more mature than 30 year olds, because life forced them to mature at a young age. And Hestia IS naive. Her status as a major god is irrelevant to that. She didn’t know to lock Bell’s status because of her lack of experience and wisdom, leading to his status being exposed to the Loki familia.
Yes she is a greek goddess. Or rather she is a titan. And some of her domains coincide with the domains of other gods, like The Night with Nyx. Though her primary domain is Magic.
Hecate. The goddess of Magic, Souls, the Night, and the Crossroads.

As he is now? His Falna will stop working and he’ll lose access to all of its powers. His Witcher traits will remain tho. Falna doesn’t work across dimensions as we have seen in the original when they shut down if the god that gave it is relocated to Tenkai. If he wants to prevent that either Hecate has to follow him or he’ll have to find a way around it. But, I haven’t planned any multiversal travel yet or if it will even play a significant role, so it’s premature to speak of that.
