I can sort of see why they'd confiscate the massive fleet MC kept around in secret...Outfitted with futuristic weaponry anytime... Owned by the world's largest arms manufacturer... Richest guy on earth... Best general in their lifetime...Well liked and respected by the army, navy, airforce, and revered by the public... At this point, he must seem beyond a security risk to the bundesrat lol. A coup waiting to happen

Maybe. but those margins are ridiculous. even if he's that wealthy, does he just have billions of uninvested currency sitting around to throw away?

But… there was not exactly a law preventing private ownership of such vessels, perhaps even a fleet of them… After all, without weapons on board, landing craft were more or less no different from civilian ships.

They'd pay for the commission cost at least, even if Bruno would probably sell it without profit

What were these purposes, a potential invasion of the British Isles. Honestly, Bruno did not care all that much about the theft of his personal property. At least in this current instance. These ships were designed for the purpose of being fielded by the Kaiserliche Marine, and he would have voluntarily given them up in that regard even without being commanded to do so.

They'll either need some kind of win or major propaganda campaign to convince them they'll be massacred like Belgrade if they don't resist the Germans with all they have. I don't see the French supporting the war once all theatres except the western front have been knocked out. People aren't stupid. Once they feel the noose tighten, there'll be a coup and a surrender to spare their countrymen an invasion at this rate

He must be absurdly wealthy to afford to front the costs of an entire landing fleet like this lmao

But… there was not exactly a law preventing private ownership of such vessels, perhaps even a fleet of them… After all, without weapons on board, landing craft were more or less no different from civilian ships.

unless they're communists or Serbs, of course

While simply killing the people in these regions was the most logical and practical solution available to Bruno and the Central Powers, Bruno did not believe that harming innocent and unarmed people was a proper thing to do.

ridiculous

As much as Tesla did not want to admit it, there was not much left for him within the United States to continue struggling for. Bruno's offer, he had always thought, was simply too good to be true. Yet, if this woman wasn't lying to him, he had paid round-the-clock employees to do one simple thing, and that was to maintain a careful vigil over the phone in case he called at any hour of the day.

Do they not have access to even rudimentary mines yet?

One would need dedicated anti-tank weapons if they wished to take these armored cars out, and these AT guns would need to be considerably larger than what the Germans fielded at the end of the Great War to deal with the pitiful tanks of the era.

was that the guy Bruno scared out of declaring for the allies a few years back during a dinner?

The other option was to open discussions with Albania and Bulgaria for military access so they could peacefully flee to Ottoman lands. Albania, however, was in a complete and total state of anarchy as various groups waged war for power after its German prince fled the country at the start of the war.

No they're just doing an invasion with similar consequences earlier here

If everything went just like it did back in 2022, then the EU would soon begin drafting plans to limit dependence on Russian gas, while NATO would mobilize its forces in neighboring countries as a show of strength.
