Doesn’t this effectively make hima slave if he wants his power? Cause if he needs people to have positive feelings towards him then if he stops satisfying them his power will decrease. Unless it permanently increases his power of course.
This power manifested in reality as small blocks. Whether it was tiny wooden sticks or planks, or larger flame and water source blocks, everything could materialize directly from his hand and affect the real world.
