The writing is excellent, the updates is okay, the story development is decent, and the world background is decent too. Character design does need some works though. Overall, it is a decent book, better than most books I seen on Webnovel. However, this book doesn't quite hit it for me...Mainly because it's a guy reincarnated as Ash Ketchum. If it is just that, thats no problem but the problem is that he reincarnated as Ash Ketchum and said that he would do better than Ash Ketchum. I quite dislike that because sure maybe he can do better than Ash but the problem is that Ash is 10 years old, which I think lot of people tend to forget. Kids at 10 years old tend to make dumb choices, so Ash making those kinda mistakes are understandable. But I hate that people are saying that Ash is stupid for not catching or releasing Pokemon. Those that say so, are completely missing the point about Pokemon which is about friendship and family! Ash only catch Pokemon if those Pokemon want to go with him, Ash obviously want to catch Pokemon but he also deeply respect the Pokemon's wish, which lot of people lack. And when he release his Pokemon, he didnt do it for himself, he did it for the sake of his Pokemon. For example, Ash release Butterfree for his sake so that he can go with his wife. There are lot of similar example with his other released Pokemon, which people seem to ignore. So, to sum it up, I prefer to read about the stupid, lovable Ash Ketchum that love and respect his Pokemon's wish. But I hope your book will go well though.

Its good. Everybody has a bad day. And right now, MC hasn't turn into a human form yet but he will in the future. And also he is not going to exterminate humanity, more like a peaceful coexistence with humanity after a final war to defend spirit beasts or something like that. And btw, MC's reason for wanting to help spirit beasts is a lot more complex than a savior complex if you want to know. Thank you.

Everybody has different pursuit. Not all desire greater power and the MC has his own reason for saving the spirit beasts. Too bad his goal doesn't conform to what you like. Did you read the book before you made your review? I don't mind a bad review if it is reasonable and objective, but I fail to see how by looking at the synopsis, you automatically think it is bad. Maybe try to be more fair next time?
