Fujin stopped thinking about it. In his previous life, he would never have done something like this. Be it for his morals or just the disgust about doing something like that. However, the ninja world slowly changed his morals and moulded his personality to a point where such things became acceptable to him.

Wow! This is such a cool backstory for a jutsu I thought at first it was a bit too brutal but justifying it with this brief interesting introduction makes it better.
The jutsu Fujin had used was Fire Release: Fiery Hell jutsu. During the First Great Ninja War, a dozen ninjas who were under Hiruzen's command were captured by Kirigakure ninjas and tortured brutally. By the time Hiruzen reached to rescue them, all he found were their tortured and mutilated dead bodies. It was then that Hiruzen had created this jutsu to take revenge for his fallen comrades.

Honestly I always imagined him with auburn short medium hair, I think that for my brain's sake I will keep imagining him like that...

I loved this chapter. I like the clear analysis onl gaons and losses, just a bit sad that I can't have a follow up right away... I can only hope in one of those miracolus extra chapters popping lately...
Interesting chapter, despite not being as thrilling as the Suna mission fights it really seems author has improved writing the action in fights overall
