Yep, not really a good example. Kakashi's chakra was average (I believe) and after accepting the sharingan from Obito, his chakra reserves drop. Naruto came from the Uzumaki clan, a clan know for their massive amounts of chakra and strong body. Not only that, Naruto also has the nine tails, which I believe increase his already massive amount of chakra.
Look at Kakashi from the original series! Even though he grew up to become a Jonin, his chakra reserves were still no match for Naruto's, who had just graduated from the Ninja Academy! (Not a good example but oh well)

I feel the same. I've read only 7 chapters though, so I can't say anything. I feel like he is slow and worries too much when he can't do anything about the system and the supernatural in the first place.
