I'm about four chapters in, and I feel like I already know the character of our two main characters very well without it being overwhelming. It takes a lot of precision to carry a story and do that much character building without burdening the reader. Interested in seeing where this goes.
Tuxedo and cowboy boots, classy :)
Marcus Reyes wore a black tuxedo with a bolo tie and cowboy boots. If Bailey hadn't been wearing three-inch heels, they would have been the same height, but where she was slender to the point of appearing delicate, Marcus was stocky as if he was built to withstand a tornado.

I love getting my Rassmussen updates. While I could never live with him myself, it entertains me to see how he lives with Francine. She must have more patience than I could ever gather, but they truly need each other. I look forward to each chapter!
Pest control has yet to save me from house spiders, so I would happily pay Rassmussen in skater shorts and snacks to rid me of spiders.
At last I know the teddy's name. However, if this is what Rassmussen thinks is fun for his own Felix, I would hate to live with him and see what he'd do with my Squishy or BratChild. Let alone my cat...
The most important question- what's Rassmussen's teddy bear named?
I only just started, but look at how many chapters I have to look forward to! It's refreshing seeing that the guy falls for the girl first, it almost never happens. He's not brooding and playing hard to get, which is so common now. It's nice to see he's the optimistic one.
