mmmm thx for taking it into account, maybe something like an skill that would normally be extremely detrimental on the long run ((mycosis infection and the like )) but he uses his body double to bypass said punishment, it seems like something the system would allow for the wit or even reward that kind of foresight

hohoooo this is interesting, and regarding the change it does not have to be that much of a change because the slime already do the key part of the process, and apex selected and empowered by the consuming of rivals, the poison part is just a way in which that may be shown, so maybe something to ensure the stability of the end vessel, and maybe use the slimes to empower rather that assimilate the hosts, like a berserker pill or something so maybe the final product is more well rounded and maybe is able to function without the slime onces the process is done, and if it fails well another quimera for the belly eye jajajja
