If someone from the side branch is really talented and gains their 'freedom' and they still hold significant resentment to the main branch but is able to hide it well, he could easily wipe out a lot of the main branch, better yet he can convince the other 'elite' ex side branch members to rebel with him and cause untold damage to the clan. Letting a rabid dog off his leash will never end well.

TBD Slow update, this is a practice novel for writing a Harem, so it'll take a while for me to iron out the story.
