If he couldn't see its antlers and spotted hide, he may have guessed it was a horse blocking his view instead of a deer. The animal was just standing there, looking toward him where he stood just inside the window, which was thankfully closed.

In some ways, he was slightly disappointed, but he also felt that this was a good age to be when everything started to hit the fan. Especially since it is a bit unrealistic to expect high schoolers to be able to save the day in real life, Jugram certainly wouldn't let his fate rest in the hands of some hormonal teens.

Fair enough, it also depends on one’s taste. I think they are extremely hard to write through. A good harem doesn’t add much to a story while a badly written harem can make a story much worse IMO. Plus I personally don’t see the appeal, but your point is valid ✅

He could always manipulate other people's blood. It's more convenient to use his own.
Despite the awakening Blood Manipulation had undergone, he still needed a wound from which to draw blood out of his own body. While he could have used Akane's blood, it was always risky to use other's blood since he could properly how much to draw from them without doing significant harm.
