here is what I would like to say , humanity has its own selfish and other dirty side but faced with circumstances and extreme situations humanity has also let down their own selfish desires to a certain degree and that's out of necessity that people did so . if we look at the story’s background , we can clearly imagine just how bad the situation is for the humanity . so honestly it doesn't seem like a too much out of context and illogical . sorry if it feels cringy 😅😅😅 . but that's my own honest thoughts
