Ripping open the top of the closest crate, I found that this crate was full of silver packages. probably vacuum sealed I thought to myself before tearing off the top of one of the packages. inside were little pellets about a 1cm in diameter. Not even bothering to try and learn what it was I was about to put in my body, I grabbed a handful and funnelled them into my maw. It took only one bite for me to blurt out. "FUCK ME!"

Hmm... I feel like I would rather change my looks to fit the partner tastes. Jewel and Orchid did so already, keeping human features shouldnt be a problem tho
I was still feeling a little lightheaded when I got up for food so I decided to walk holding hand with Jewel just in case. It always feels a little weird walking next to her as she is so tall, I don't have a problem with it and if I did I could forgo my own aesthetics and become some sort of godly figure with all my enhancements.

There is harm in that. Not killing civilians is one thing, but that mindset just makes soldiers nothing but meat to mince. It gives justification for a pointless war simply because of "a soldiers duty".
With that the Ker'mins went on their way, not without a few of the females taking glances before doing so, once they were out of earshot Orchid turned to me in confusion. "Why did you let them go love?" expecting the question from Orchid I responded "They were civilians Orchid. That may mean nothing to you and the hive, which I'm fine with I've always said I would never try to change your way of doing, but to me they were no threat they were innocent. I may be ok in taking a soldiers life as it is their duty but the civilians just now, all they wanted was to survive. I could not in good conscience take that from them."

I'm not going to lie, demon world is super uninteresting to me. There are no individuals there, just either kings or masses of people. The entire world is missing, with just few tops visible, like mountains on a misty day.
I knew my human identity wasn't very useful to me anymore. Even if I graduate with the best grades, I wouldn't be able to enjoy my life like an ordinary person. I had more important duties and responsibilities than that. For the human world, my power and strength put me in the same place as Erebus in the past.
