Spoiler: this could have been a way better novel if author didn’t heavily use religious prophetic imagery as a basis for this novel. In the first 20 chapters, you are hit with so much translated prophetic words that you don’t know which is who. Also author pack so much world building aspects in the first 20c that is ridiculous. He dropped the whole world map that you gotta keep going back to for reference when they talk about something. And there’s like five different POV‘s of the main characters when you don’t even remember their names. And why is it always iskei? Why can’t you just build the world of fantasy instead of letting somebody die by a truck from earth! Also, he wanted to be different so he used the car to kill him . And with all the prophetic scriptures, the author basically outline the novel. MC. Resolve is as deep as a puddle. Because you want a family go kill a void monster lord and it’s numerous minions in another world

I understand but childhood/ parental trauma are the most common types. Also Lith, solis, Friya ,Morok, gaudian’s children like Zen and other wouldn’t be who they are if trauma didn’t happen. Lith’s untrusting, sinister, selfish nature came from his earthly childhood trauma so yes it is necessary.

lol man it called a character flaw. Literally every person has it. Majority of all novel characters has huge flaws that u speaking on. No one is perfect and if they didn’t have one how will they improve? They wouldn’t grow and change or in bad guy case, get worse. Flaws are essential for character development. if they didn’t have it, it would be the most boring novel.

Could be but they already experienced the old lady and the mayor acting suspicious. Even if he can’t explain himself don’t let his students dissuade their discovered apprehension toward that ominous feeling that something is not right in this town

"Yes, Professor." Eleiney nodded and then left the room, closing the door behind her.
