He was a laser sword using Class and he already had a few ideas for his build based on Samurai Jack, Ichigo Kurosaki, and Rurouni Kenshin. Although it gave him the option to change his Username, he'd likely use a Sword in the future, so it was as good a Username as any and he could always change it later.

Sure. He makes an AI robot army and takes over atlas to fight Salem. None of his family likes him for it and the only family he has is his AI robot daughters. After he defeats Salem he retires but dies relatively young because of health issues. He didn't become a hunter mind you. In the epilogue, a lot of years after, possibly centuries because humanity is a space fairing civilization, the gods come back and his AI daughters kill them using blackholes or something. They meet up with him again, but i think its implied they meet him in the afterlife or something. Or they bring him back to life. Still not sure on that.
But they literally arranged assassins from the league the same day they found out Alfred was going to be there with them.

They could assassinate them the next day, or the day after. I doubt a couple of days will make a difference for the MC unlocking powers when he's been trying for years. And its not like his parents aren't going to go out, they do run one of the biggest companies you know.
