They do though? All of them can be divided in active and passive abilities. If it doesn't looks like that to you then you have a strange understanding of what active skill and passive skill means. Moonlight 🌙 gu, that throws a blade of light is an active ability that have to be activated to be used. Jage skeleton does grant you a passive defense boost after being used once.

The toad can forsee the future and the snake can hear (and apparently know?) everything that is going on in the world. I don't know what the slag can do though.
