I know that this might not work, but I'm trying to find a novel that I read around the same time as this one years ago. The cover is very similar, but the girl is facing us and has a red mark on her forehead like a bindi. I forgot the name and have been trying to find it, but I can't seem to. Same concept of rebirth, but I think she was an assassin before and transmigrated to a young girl that had been disowned for a reason I can't remember. I think the assassin was betrayed by her agency or partner, and that partner had also been sent to the magic world. The only scene that I remember is that she stole clothes from a jade statue that turned out to be a god or something, and she has a bracelet that I think is called the Firmament Stone, which talks to her. And she was engaged to a prince who her half sister is seeing. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please tell me the novel's name, I miss it so much and Ghost is the closest story to it.
Not at all is this a bad review. I just see everywhere on Webmovel 5-star reviews that really shouldn't be given because of people spreading positivity and avoiding accuracy in feedback in case it comes off as mean. I love this story so far. When I first started to read it, I was looking forward to my next fast passes to spend on it! While the English seems a bit bumpy (I don't know if our dear author is a native speaker or not) but other than my little grammar fanatic self being overly obsessed with that, it is very well written, not confusing to read, easy to digest, while also being entertaining. It doesn't make me feel overwhelmed to step into a new world that the author has created. Some stories are written very seriously with lots of nuances and lengthy writing that it makes the reading more like a chore sometimes because it is so complex, but this story is a nice refresher. It's funny, steamy, cute, and kinda wacky in the multiple occult way that reminds me a bit of Harry Potter. Literally the only critique that I want to give to the author (as a story writer myself and wanting to support growth from experiences) is that the build ups for secrets or reveals are a bit obvious, like calling it "morning sickness" before she knew she actually had morning sickness from pregnancy. Instead, refer to things in other words or terms to that are not so on the nose to make the build up greater. I could see things coming a mile away, except for Aria being so dastardly, or Swan's mother's true heritage, (because they were given a bit more time to simmer and stew before the reveal. But that just means that the next stories that the author makes will be that much greater and just as captivating! I highly recommend this for some light, cute, and entertaining fantasy reading. I think there are so many fantasy stories that are poorly written on this site that simultaneously make it very hard to find anything good to read, while also stopping my interest a lot, so to find this gem is truly a diamond in the rough.
Giving my two cents here, I really hope that the birth isn't during a ridiculous war or conflict like every book seems to do. Make it nice and sweet, please, I love this story!😚

I just have to wonder, what do the herbivores do for the marking? They naturally don't have the fang length or sharpness to piece flesh the same way the wolves and big cats do.
I feel like that one kid in class that asks a question everyday, but I don't actually know how the whole Chimera mating thing works. So I have been telling myself how it works is that they are all virgins until they find their mates or choose one, and whoever they sleep with they are bonded too whether they love them or not, and the Anima are free to mate regardless. Is that right or is it more about emotional bonding? Cause it seemed hinted that none of them other than Zev have slept with a none mate and the rest are virgins and if they are r**** they will be stuck with that person.
