Not really, as he is still a child with no memories of a past life. While he is more mature than a regular child due to having a solid grasp on concepts most children don't even understand, he doesn't have true in-depth emotional maturity that comes with experience of life thus making him just a child with a better sense of self and others.

The only ways I can think of countering this are slowing down the blood flow or not giving him enough time. Both of those mean that the other is strong enough to win anyways.
