I noticed I had gained a new title "Survivor of The Great Catastrophe" which gave me a 5% chance to half all the damage taken for 2 seconds.

Since romantic relationships were a dead end for the moment most of his excess energy outside of school he put towards practicing Kendo and Iaido from a young age figuring that since he was born in Japan he should at least practice something unique to his country of birth and even better if it is something that can help protect himself. Fortunately Japan is an insanely safe country and they lived in a relatively affluent neighbourhood so despite practicing for over 14 years he hasn't had to actually use any of it.

Ok so heres what I've found out: iaido. The art of sword drawing. All katas begin and end with the sword sheathed. In some ways you could liken it to preparedness at all times, not just in battle. kendo. The art of of sword fighting. In modern kendo, there is an emphasis on sparring during taikai. Typically, the sword is already drawn. So they basically complement each other in some way... from my understanding iaido is a style that focuses on being prepared to react quickly to an oponents attack by quickly drawing the sword from its sheath and kendo is about fighting when the sword is already drawn... I guess it's about synergy then... iaido for the beginning of a battle and kendo for the rest of the battle... Sorry if my explanation (or whatever it is) can't be understood... I myself have no idea what I've just said...
