This is probably one of the greatest disappointments I've read in a long while. I'd suggest you don't bother trying to read this. Fun story, good writing. Abandoned by the author. Don't waste your time reading a story that's dead I'd say.

I tried getting into this novel despite the author having another story I quite dislike. Seems the author has a style they don't change up at all and this story from my view point also is not good. I'll sum the story up simply. No depth. No depth to the characters, to the world as well as to the very writing of the story itself. I don't expect writing of incredible depth by the by. However incredibly shallow writing with what appears to be no desire to improve on ones flaws doesn't sit well with me.

I'm definitely hearing a fridge running...

He gazed into the beautiful eyes of Maya momentarily. 'I promise, that will be the day I tell you my true feelings. Once I become something significant and not someone who is a burden to your family, I will come clear. That day... I don't know what your answer will be. I'm already scared...'

hmmmm.... I think I hear the fridge running....

Maya was the only daughter of the Aria family. The two youngsters had spent most of their life together and grew quite close to each other along the way. It was only because of Maya that Gabriel never felt like he was alone in this world. She was always there for him, even when he felt sad or missed his mother. She was his light in the world of loneliness.

This is a middle of the road story at best. Not 4 or more stars by any means. The MC is very dumb. Which is annoying since the author seemed like they wanted to make that not the case. Then changed their mind several chapters in. Lastly and honestly one of the more annoying things to me, the freaking characters shout their moves. I genuinely hate that...

Why did the author kinda abruptly decide they wanted the MC to be incredibly stupid? I mean he was never brilliant by any means... but over the past few chapters he's become more and MORE stupid. And it is incredibly fucking annoying... Am I missing something?

Story is rated higher than it should be. Character Design is pretty mediocre at best... World background is the same. Story development is mid at the best honestly... the author has this really awful habit of repeating things that have already been said by some character or has already been mentioned by the author many many times. If it was once or twice it'd be no problem. I could even be ok with 3 or 4 times. The author will repeat things like 10 times which is just annoying as can be. It's like the author has little to no memory of what occurred in the novel. That and/or doesn't take or make note of things happening or have happened in the story. I've seen comments here and there saying it's slice of life to excuse some complaints people have. I just want to say slice of life doesn't excuse poor writing. I feel like the story could have been quite fun but after many chapters I just find myself annoyed.

I can understand what you say. I think it might be a me thing right now with how I'm feeling about several things I'm currently reading. I like when an author has a clear goal in mind ( whether that's the path they want the story to follow or the ending result of the story ) and with this story... while some of the goal might be clear... it feels... Too broad and/or vague leading us to where the story currently is maybe. It got a 3 star rating from me and it would have been higher if some of the wrinkles were ironed out so to say. Honestly I do understand that making an OP character STAY fun, rather than just be briefly amusing or whatnot, can be tough. It can be done as shown by the manga/anime One Punch Man. I know I've read a few others where the MC was OP but honestly OPM is the only one that comes to mind immediately right now, I'd have to sift through everything I've read to find the good stuff again lol. I only stopped reading them because the story finished up, which is something I enjoy in an author. Knowing when to end the story rather than drag things on.

I enjoyed this story in the beginning quite a lot. That enjoyment has gone down quite a bit in the newest chapters though. The fights are really quite lame and boring... at least in the 3000's area of chapters. The main character when interacting with other characters is also really just... boring... I'd go so far as to say that is the weakest ( or one of ) area of this story honestly. The author is missing a certain something in this story. I'm not sure what that something is but I can feel it missing when reading the story. Maybe the author got lost on trying to find a way to make the OP character stay fun when being quite OP.

This would be a solid four star story on this site for me but the biggest thing pulling this down is one major issue. It seems as if it has been totally abandoned. What a let down.
