yea pretty much, the mc wouldnt have to do much aside from promising some stuff to local chiefs if war ever started they literally have to do nothing aside from stalling and not helping their "main" chief fight, its indeed a over bloated giant who only ever fought weaker enemies, the MC NAC has always been fighting somewhat equaled enemies and he has 2 world worth of materiel to fight this future war

this is why i love this story,if this was another author we would have some bullshit about how the MC cant accept being protected even thou every other young person is,just to show how bad usually chinese novels are,even basic logic gets praise,its kinda sad

currently my favorite novel,MC is actually smart and does actual schemes instead of "ScHeMeS" enemies are believably powerful and dangerous,only thing that makes this novel a 9.5 instead of 10 is that the cultivation levels are too scattered and the "cultivation" level of cultivators arent unique enough(i.e each level granting something special or particular to that level,have seen that very few times in novels)
