From my understanding balas seems to be Iran. I believe the soviets and uk did an operation irl to deny oil to axis during this time as government was leaning axis.

However, the colonel came forward again and spoke loudly, "Next, we convey the orders of the Military Command to the First Mobile Army Headquarters. Your unit should be immediately reorganized into the Balas Expeditionary Army Headquarters, proceeding to Abawahan to take over the Expeditionary Force troops, and prepare for a special military operation in Balas."

What about Laos and Burma? Colonial or independent or otherwise?

"After here only the Angkor Empire and then Dacia will await us... better start praying from now on for its well-being when we step into the Dacian Imperial Palace" Ferdinand said with a smile on his face as he opened one of his eyes, looking amusedly at Tanya, who grumbled angrily.

"Haha, Your Grace jest. I would have loved to come to Kings Landing if there was such a chance. But you see these troublemakers behind me kept me occupied for a long time. And it seems that it's not getting any better.", I hear Father say. This almost makes me break my stone mask. The deception! The betrayal man! He used us! How could he ... oh well, it's not wrong though. I guess that's the payback for his headaches.

December 7th? Really?!?

Arthur didn't care about all this; on December 7, 1915, the attack of Australasia officially began.

He really is him. I can’t believe it.

A chilling smile played upon Boruto's lips as he responded with an unsettling calmness. "Because I am him," he declared, his words hanging in the air like a dark omen. The revelation sent a wave of shock through Isshiki's core, leaving him to grapple with the unimaginable truth of Boruto's transformation into a vessel for Momoshiki's malevolent spirit.

"She was telling me about how her Uncle barged into his wife's chamber during the birth of his first child, and then passed out and knocked a tooth out of his mouth when his head hit the corner of the bed." I cringe as I sit down on a small bench and sit Aegon on the ground so he can explore.

From my understanding off the top of my head they are technically 2 different things, but not mutually exclusive. Very basically, there are a lot of overlapping terms used from different parts of the world, so classifying things can be confusing when using these terms. As an example the longsword is a broad classification for a TYPICALLY one handed sword with a relatively long and straight blade. Meanwhile a two handed sword is literally a sword with a grip meant to be used with two hands.

The handle was made of the same metal as the sword. When Damian waved the sword around to get a feel of it, he found it to be heavier than a normal steel one-handed longsword.

they don't understand the distance between heaven and earth

You guys can all thank God I'm not a contracted Xianxia writer, because then this story would have at least a half dozen tournaments and they will all be even longer than this one as I'd introduce every NPC and cheapen the drama with all sorts of bullshit. Mother fuckers would have eyes but not see Mt. Tai.

the last dnd campaign I played had our party of 7 fight a baby tarrasqe. 2 were left alive, and 1 because of game mechanics when he ignited a molotov inside its stomache.

This land reminded me a lot of my clan's lands. I might inform them to begin colonizing this land next. Though what I saw next made me decide against it. As I saw a creature that was extremely rare in my old world. One that even ancient dragons avoided if possible, a 'Tarrasque'. The beast was a full 50ft (15m) tall and 70ft (21m) long quadruped with a long tail, reflective carapace, and two large horns on its head. The tarrasque was impossible to frighten or charm and had resistance to every kind of damage imaginable.
