Not really, humans can survive and live in 4 to five times earth's gravity, lifespan may decrease by some years because of some diseases being more prone and accidents being worse, in the most extreme cases a human can survive for a short time at a 80X earth's gravity if he can find himself completely still in a position that spreads out the weight of your body evenly avoiding moving a single muscle, of course at that gravity you will die within minutes but well you survived for minutes and that's something.
[Just increasing gravity by a single unit would bring me to my knees. I really have my work cut out for me.]

I mean cannon vel'koz is fucking giant he has to be fairly tough considering his size and that his body is mostly made of a chitin like material and his eye seem like a type of crystal, in the universe of League, he's absolutely not that much of a tough body but in the marvel universe he's pretty high up there in physical toughness.
Vel'Koz had high intelligence and could analyze and learn everything, which was very powerful. However, as a pure mage without much physical durability, Harvey placed this option lower on his list.

If I'm not wrong most pantheons got kicked out of Earth/Midgard for some reason or another unsure if the Greek pantheon was kicked out by Odin and Hella during their conquests, but he's not that powerful of a sun god if he was literary kicked out of his source of power that exists in the realms.

What most people don't seem to know is that humans can live normally in up to 5x times the gravity of earth, sure it's not going to be a comfortable living, but you aren't going to die because of the gravity just sore body all the time and some accidents and disease will be more likely to happen but after a few generations people will adapt, the thing that suffer the most is Infrastructure, twice the gravity means that Every single skyscraper, bridge and most houses will collapse under their own weight, everything we know about civil engineering will have to be re-evaluated, and most countries will be basically sent back to the dark ages when it comes to buildings, we would have to re-learn how to build stuff from basically scratch as materials such as steel, concrete and other materials will be less effective.
