Why did he learn healing skills from the kami if he's not going to use it to get a zenkai? Vegeta did it in namek and zamasu did it when he was goku black. There's no reason why he shouldn't.

1000 for 1 year's worth of training is not good but his bullshit potential, lack of training partner and lack of Zenkai boost(the process where a Saiyan was able to increase his battle power by a lot when he healed from his injuries) makes it at least tolerate the frustrating training session.

He is basically a multiversal level jumper?

The Omniveral travel is based on this so if I want to head to a different universe, multiverse or dimension, I just need to picture it hard enough for a portal to create.
