most ink can be traced back to its producer and or user. this can be done by comparing with examples written, comparing traits of the ink such as color ,how much it spreads into the paper and probably others. natural ink also ages, so you can even tell when an ink was made xD. and I'm not even an expert, i vaguely remember a novel using ink as evidence for a crime, the rest just makes sense to me

I had found the trick after three whole days of experimenting based on normal logic. I couldn't help but be amused at how screwy it was to actually create a cursed tool. The steps were all so wrong and out of the box that it would take ages for someone rigid in their thoughts to figure it out without teaching. I was almost willing to bet if I wasn't willing to try the bullshit I thought of on the fly at this point i also would have taken way longer to figure it out.-

you have no clue what burning something actually means do you? it's just a chemical reaction, usually with oxygen. so in order to burn hydrogen what do you need? thats right. oxygen. and what do you get? water. electrolysis can be seen as the reverse of a hydrogen fire.
Electrolysis is the process of separating oxygen and hydrogen that existed in water, both of which were flammable as all hell. My flames being the weird shit they are could apparently skip the whole separation step and burn both of those in their bonded form. In other words water might as well be fucking gasoline as far as my flame was concerned. The good news was that the water capital floors of the dungeon were going to be a fun experience for me since I needed to be extra careful not to burn the whole place down.-
